Tu Tecnología is a multimedia platform designed to educate latinos about technology. Tu Tecnología started as a TV segment airing on the number one station in the country and evolved into a weekly column in the number one Hispanic newspaper La Opinión assisted by Tutecnología.com, the most successful crowdsourced educational community in Spanish.

Coro, a technology expert and one of the first technology blogueros in Spanish,  recognized the need for the Hispanic public to learn about technology in their own language and that it had to be done in a non-threatening and entertaining manner. He called this segment Tu Tecnología, which means Your Technology in Spanish.

Tu Tecnologia's mission is to help the Hispanic community in their quest for better understanding of technology, which can make a tangible impact on their lives. Coro believes that when immigrants, such as him, arrive to this great nation, they have to overcome many barriers but, by understanding and becoming familiar even with the simplest technologies, they can make significant progress towards their goals and objectives.

From the very beginning Tu Tecnología had a dual approach. People loved the explanations and demonstrations on TV but due to the time limitations, people had questions that needed to get answered. That's why Coro created Tutecnologia.com, a social network, which support Hispanics on their quest for better understanding of technology. These efforts evolved and are complemented by a weekly column in La Opinión.

Tutecnologia.com has evolved from a social network into a social movement.  Using a crowdsourcing approach, Cor empowered the Tu Tecnología community to interact on the site and help each other. The daily blog is maintained by the members and all the questions that are posted on the site are answered by volunteers worldwide which are subject matter experts. All questions are answered regardless of difficulty and at a speed rivalring large tech support organizations.

The community has many experts in different subjects that are willing to contribute their knowledge for a good cause. They help those in need of assistance since it's very rewarding to see the impact that's being made to advance the Hispanic community's understanding of these topics.
